Fox ESS battery storage - experiences

Hi all,

I am in the process (like many others too) of looking into battery storage in the first instance, possibly adding solar at a later stage. I plan to charge the battery with cheaper night electricity via Octopus. My daily requirement (without the car) is around 10kwh and should be covered by the battery.

Has anyone got batteries from Fox ESS? I am interested in all feedback, good and bad.

Good batteries - "slot and ready" so very practical to build up capacity - FOX do outdoor models (for anyone paranoid in the unlikely event of in-home battery fires).

When dipping the toes into these waters, it can be a minefield, and the FOX ones were the first ones explored (outside of the normal Powerwall 'first dibs' options).

If curious, have a look at SOLAX, they also do some good 17.6KWH LFP setups (with offgrid automatic switchover if you live in an area prone to outages/brownouts).
