Free wall charger if I order solar today?

I got the free charger but the installation is not free. It cost me about $750 for Tesla to install the "Free Charger". Although the did a great job.

was it comparable to what an electrician in area would charge?

It was a permited intall approved by the city so the $750 was not too expensive considering all the permitting fees were included. They installed it aobut 15 ft worth of wiring and conduit away from my panel. It was a very clean install I have to say.

Sounds reasonable. Mine would be right by the breaker, but not sure if permitting is needed.

They are pretty cool! Racing, ludi launches, drone videos of the cars. We usually have 8-15 people show up.

+$500 for the HPWC since it's a rental vs purchase it's not free

I asked them to pause my appplication since it does lock in the free $1500 removal clause.

Holy cow that has to be a record. That job can easily be done for $250.

Pretty much it seems like haha. In the back of my head I was like "I know like 3 electricians that can do this for well under $1000."

I have solar and Powerwalls install for $48,000 scheduled for November, it might be a little late to try to negotiate free charger, but I'm going to try. I do not have a Tesla yet, but maybe if I place order for Model Y they will be open to throwing this in. I asked about getting an outlet installed for charger that comes with Tesla a few weeks back and got directed to Home Charging Team, but I never followed up because I assumed that meant a separate contract. Maybe I was just getting pushed in the right direction. I'll post again after I get some answers.
