Front seat heater question, rear panel of seat bottom seems not to be heating

I purchased a new Model 3 in late December and have been driving in the cold, here in Minnesota. I have noticed when entering a very cold car, that the driver's seat seems to heat only along the front panel and seat back. The panel immediately underneath my bum (horizontal surface toward the rear seat back) does not seem to be heating. Eventually, the whole seat comes to temperature, but, for the first 10 minutes or so, this back portion of the seat is noticeably cold.

Is this normal? Should I schedule a service call?

No disrespect. If you gotta ask…

You’re under warranty. Anything that seems wrong, should be in a service request so as to not get into worse trouble later. Just my thoughts.

Good point, Soul Surfer. I was hoping other's experiences might allow me to be more confident that the seat is actually malfunctioning before scheduling service...
