Front wheels sound like a bucket of Legos

Sound emitting from both front wheels sounds like legos being shaken in a 5 gallon bucket. It’s been doing it for about 80,000 miles. I have 150k on it. The last guy who fixed the acceleration rattle mentioned I would need to replace the front control arms eventually. Could it be that? Also hear a loud click when I back up and the wheel is turned severely. I have a 2018 MX 100D.

My 2018 was making a racket anytime I turned. Got upper control rods replaced, and not a peep since.
