FSD for $3K online for EAP owners?

The $3000 EAP->FSD upgrade only applies to Model 3.

S/X EAP owners still have to pay $5000.

For some reason nobody seems to be too upset about this. Which I find strange.

The upgrade to HW3 is easier in the 3 than S and X. They have different computer configurations

I saw a post on one of the forums that people who bought in 2019 would get EAP for free. Any truth to that?

Mine is showing 3k currently. Debating buying it, hoping Elon makes it free for EAP users lol.

I agree this is what should be done. Please, let's as a community of early adopters fight for this.

I am confused... I didn't buy EAP when I bought the car. I just logged in my account and was offered "Full Self Driving Capability" for $7k, the same price for EAP before the major announcement this afternoon. I guess I will pull the trigger when it's $2k and TRULY self-driving. With Tesla's track record, I don't think it's that far-fetched.

Just in the last 36 hours, FSD went from $7k to $11k and then back down to $5k for people who didn't get EAP at purchase (Official Tesla announcement: Upgrading to Autopilot and Full Self-Driving Capability).

My $2k target price for FSD just might come much sooner than I imagined.
