FWD Manual Control

I know that I can manually open the FWD using the B-Pillar control but can I also control the vertical/horizontal component?

We would have plenty of room in the garage if I could make it open horizontally first but the door wants to go straight up vertically into the garage door opener.

No manual way to do this. The sensors should try to do this though. If the roof sensor detects an obstacle and the side one does not, it will stop going up but the sides should keep expanding. And vice versa too.

The sensor is incorrectly sensing in my case. It has a clearing horizontally but vertically the garage door opener is there.

I think I have to convert my garage door opener to side mount to get rid of the obstacle on top.
