I had a long-term, intermittent, and very annoying plastic-y "rattle" from somewhere in the rear. Seemed to come and go with outside temperature, which I found weird. When I finally took it in, the dealer immediately diagnosed the rear hatch seal and replaced it under warrantee. Gone. In hindsight, I probably could have fixed it by lubricating the seal.
