Gateway Reset button? & owners Manual?

Does anyone have the owners manual for Backup Gateway?

The system was installed and today there is no communication at all. It was connected through the Cell option but it appears to be down. There is a Reset button but I'm not sure what the reset button does. Does it reset all the settings that was setup by the installer or does it simply reboot the gateway?

It's just a reboot on mine. If they haven't changed that, it should be safe to use. You might also want to try to connect to the Wifi network it's broadcasting to see if you can see the status there. You should be able to set it up to connect to your local network using that interface. See here: Connecting to Tesla Gateway | Tesla Support

I connected to the gateway via wifi and I can see the Cell status is not connected. I just want to know what the "Reset" button actually does, so when it reboots it does not reset any of the settings that was setup by the installer?

No based on what I observed just a system reboot settings remain

Great thanks, I will press it next time the cell comms goes down to see if that fixes it.

Curious do you hold it than release or just a quick press and release?

That’s a great question I held mine for about 3 seconds and then shortly after I heard the power blaster in the gateway chime

Quick press does the same. I tap mine for less than 1/2 second and it reboots the gateway.
