Getting Model 3 reflected in Tesla Account?

Hey All - I super newbie here. Wife just picked up her 3 yesterday. I know time and familiarity will ease our anxiety, but after 6 hours we are really overwhelmed by all the tech option screens and what does what. For right now we’re hoping someone can help us out with getting her account to reflect the car. I was the original reservation contact and my cell shows the car, but we simply can’t figure out how she can also have it as well. Her phone itself is paired to the car, but she still can’t set up her Tesla app because it says there is nothing in her account??? Any help appreciated. Everyone have a safe and happy 4th!

Tesla has to switch the car to another account. Contact your delivery specialist. Google “Tesla Model 3 Owners Manual” and have a good read. I read it before picking mine up yesterday, too, and boy did it help!

The Owner's Manual should be in your account and it's in the car but here:

And if you don't want to share the same account (for phone access, etc.), yeah, the car needs to be moved to her login/account.

As the others have said, You’ll need to contact Tesla to move it. In the meantime, she can log into your account with her phone, and both of you can use the car without issue.

Both of you need to use the same account. The account you have can be hers also. If you want the user ID to be her e-mail instead of yours; just update the e-mail address. You can also change the credit card on file to one of hers. This seems easier and quicker than getting Tesla to assign the vehicle to another account and gives both of you more time to enjoy your fantastic car.
