I had mine replaced because of a defect in the glass so Tesla ate the cost. It took the service center about 2 weeks to get the replacement glass and they had to have the car overnight to allow time for the adhesive to cure.
I didn't have any issues afterward, but you'll want to check for any adhesive drips, damage to the headliner, scratches to the paint during removal, new rattles, and leaks (tho I might wait a couple days for the adhesive to fully cure before blasting the seams with a hose).
