Got Homelink installed and it never sees the remote

Service installed in my 2020 Model 3 and set up things. I can't get it to see my remote. Tried 5-6 times. I know the system works on our other non-tesla car just fine.
Help?

What exactly did service set up? They’re supposed to make sure you can program the HomeLink after they install it.

Two things to try:

1. Put new batteries in the remote.
2. When you’re trying to get the car to recognize the remote (standing in front of the car), have the frunk open.

Sometimes it takes multiple attempts to make it work, but those steps should help.

Homelink only works with 433MHz garage doors. What frequency does yours use? I had to buy a 433MHz receiver for my garage because the one it had was different.

The OP said HomeLink works in their other cars, so the garage door opener is not the issue.

It is a LiftMaster Professional Series. As I noted it works with our other car. I have fresh batteries in hand remote
