Green light chime stopped working completely

I have a 2017 Model S with MCU1 - FSD (included package). The traffic green light chime used to work before but no longer works now. I tried to turn the setting off and on again multiple times but no luck. Did anyone else experience the same problem?

S/W version: FSD Beta 10.69.3.3 (2022.8.10.10) - latest available

Good point. I tried disabling Joe mode and still same issue.

That setting should be saved in your User Profile. Try creating a new user profile. Use that and see if it starts working. I have seen it miss a green light or so at times, but I haven't heard of anyone having it not work anymore.

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried creating a new profile but that didn't work too. I'm able to use FSD though so I'm not sure what could be the issue.

Probably a bug in the version of software you are on. I notice mine doesn't always alert, but it is helpful as a reminder. A great feature of the car.

Great points. Thank you again. Filed a big report from the car. Hopefully they look into it.

The ticker noise was something that stopped working when I had MCU1 possibly an early symptom of it going to crap and time to upgrade. MCU2 is where it's at anyway MCU1 is absolutely trash

I submitted a bug report earlier.

Got a software update yesterday (2022.8.10.15) after which this issue seems to be resolved!

Working like a charm again! Missed this feature for so long

I was having the same issue as you with my MCU1. Hoping the new software fixes my issue too. And my homelink which stopped working around the same time as green light chime.

Sorry to bring back a zombie thread, but I'm experiencing the same behavior. No more green light chimes and very intermittent Home Link since software 2023.32.7. I'm installing 32.9 now with the hopes this is resolved.

I think you might be having MCU2. This post was for MCU1 users and we're still at 2022.8.10.15
