AWD, LR, Aero, Midnight Silver, Premium, Vin 65XXX

Short Story

Car arrived a few days earlier than the ISA initially estimated. Car is perfect except for one tire value cap missing and possibly a small gap in the weather stripping. Staff were super polite with a great vibe and everything went quickly and smoothly.

I live in CT but took delivery at the Mt Kisco, NY Service Center. Arrived 30 mins early and met with my delivery specialist within 5 mins. Signed papers for:
1) Motor Vehicle Purchase agreement (but did not sign the Model 3 delivery acceptance form)
2) State of CT vehicle registration (Tesla will register the car and send the plates within 25 days)
3) State of CT CHEAPER form and provided a voided check ($3,000 rebate, Tesla processes it, check should arrive within 2 weeks)

Tesla drove me to the overflow delivery center (5 mins) and was met by two Tesla people. Inspected the car (5 pages of checklists, many thanks to the authors) and found the missing tire valve cap and possible weather stripping issue. Weather striping could be normal / acceptable but the Tesla person took pictures and immediately offered to setup a service call in Milford CT. Don't think its necessary but I accepted it thinking I'll have a few days to shake the car down and discuss any questions / issues face to face with a service tech.

After I got through the checklists and many questions I signed the delivery acceptance form and handed over the cashiers check. Drove home through the winding, twisting back roads of CT, was awesome. Stoked.

FYI.. I wanted a Saturday delivery so my wife didn't need to take time off to drive me to Mt Kisco (one hour drive). Saturday delivery was not available for another week so Tesla offered to:
1) pay for an Uber from my house to Mt Kisco
2) pay for an Enterprise rent a car so I could drive myself, which I did

FYI.. FYI.. for context my wife bought an new Audi Q3 two years ago... had to go back for serving twice in the first 30 days for a non functional antenna
