During the Autonomy presentation, it was noted that when FSD is feature complete later this year, it will still require supervision until sometime next year. Currently with Nav on Autpilot that means your hands are on the wheel, and you slightly nudge the wheel to confirm maneuvers.
With FSD, and large wheel motions that are going to be made with left & right hand turns, how will Tesla monitor driver supervision? Currently when Autopark is on, hands are off the wheel because the force/turning wouldn't allow it. Does that mean they'll have to come up with another way to detect a human?
