Hanging from the bottom of the car

I guess I need a service appointment. Noticed this hanging from the bottom of the car.

Yep, a bunch of us have had this happen. Usually occurs if you drive through a puddle at a decent speed. In my opinion Tesla needs to redesign this part and issue a recall. There’s a fairly lengthy thread about this issue: Ripped Undercarriage Composite from the rain?

You can probably avoid a service center visit if you’re the DIY type. Just buy some very strong water-proof tape and tape the loose piece back in place.

Yup. Once again my thinking “well that won’t happen to me / my car” has been proven horribly wrong.
