I've seen various threads here discussing how the built-in connectivity might be considered "equivalent" to LoJack for getting the U.S. insurance company's +15% Vehicle Recovery System discount, with some comments suggesting "try it with your insurance company and see; it might work". However, the very few comments about actual conversation with insurance companies that I've found say they were turned down. Has anyone ever successfully received this discount?
