My MS was on 45 1.33.51 when I received the upgrade message earlier this week. The message said it would take 45 minutes. The last update on 4.5 took less than 30 minutes. I arrived at work my usual hour+ before anyone else. And I often sit in the car for a while just for the fun of it, (don't want to leave it). So, I thought, what the heck, do the update. From 1.33.51 to 1.33.61 took 8 minutes with 4 bars. The update notes didn't show anything new. And I've not seen anything different. So, I guess we don't know yet what it fixes. But it was nice it went smoothly.
For anyone interested in Front and Rear carpet mats with optional logos, I wanted to share a source I found on the TM forum to a seller. He's sold a couple of sets and sent me pictures, that I have added here. The choices of logos, names or even personalizing it with you own name are available. I have a set on order like the pictures below. I am interested in Frunk and Trunk carpetted mats with Tesla logos on them, in case anyone runs across a source, so please share.
The seller is Gerald (Jerry) Jones
Buffalo Grove, IL

His current web site is ForMyMercedes.com
Later in 2013 he will have a "ForMyTesla.com" site also.

What have most of you experienced with using the mobile app during the production & shipping process? I saw earlier in the thread about using the "Mobile Access is off" messages to guesstimate when the car was on the ship, but my app has consistently said "No Vehicles Linked to this My Tesla Account" even though my car shows up in My Tesla on the full website, and it says production complete on the main site.
I'm just wondering if they've changed the process to completely disable the app until you actually take delivery. I'm probably just being impatient waiting now that I've sent in my $$. I'd like to be able to see if my car is on island or not. My DS originally estimated delivery by 8/19, but the car was "production complete" as of last week Monday, 7/22 and he had mentioned he thought it might make it on the 7/24 departure voyage arriving on 7/28.
Although I realize 7/28 was only yesterday, it would appear that if the car truly is here, I would like to think I could potentially get it sometime earlier than 8/19, which is almost three weeks from now. What has been the general timeframe for most folks from when the car lands here until delivery at the SC?
I didn't want my Safety Inspection Sticker on my bumper. So I made a bracket and mounted it to the bottom of the car. I didn't like this method but it was the only way I could think without putting it on the bumper. Then ddruz showed us how he did his (Reply #945). I liked how he did that. I didn't know we could do that. So, I started thinking of a way to produce the same effect but not use a metal plate. I found some PVC sheets on Amazon. Opaque White Polyvinyl Chloride sheets 12" x 24" and ordered it.
I drew a pattern using my tag and added a tab to the right for the stickers. I took several sheets to a shop and asked them to cut the pattern. After they cut the patterns they warned me the Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene sheets would not allow the stickers to adhere to the plates. I am trying to find some paint that will stay on that sheet. In the mean time, I painted the tab on the PVC plate where the stickers will go. Here's pictures. Next step is to go back to my inspection station and talk them into replacing my existing stickers on the underside mounted bracket and put new stickers on the plate mounted behind the tag. I'll let you know the outcome on Saturday.

Yes, the plastic plate from the full size 12x24 inch sheet is the entire plate that fits behind the tag and most is covered by the tag. Yes, the tab is my solution to a metal tab sticking out and risking working loose. I used white because that's the MS's color. Less risk to an odd color showing around the edges of the tag.
I had three different sheets of PVC like material. Drew the pattern on one, and tool all threee to Min Plastics just off Dillingham @ King to cut them. I matched the tag to screw holes on the car and drilled them a little larger for the Torx head screws that came with the MS. The sheet was 3/16" thick and I didn't need longer screws. One of my sheets is 1/4" thick and I think it is thick enough.
I didn't ask Min Plastic for a quote for the PVC sheets. I bought 4 ranging in price from $12.xx to $ $ 22.xx and the best choice to work with was the $ 12.xx one. Min Plastic charged me $ 15.00 each to cut the pattern out of the sheets.
I suggest you talk to Min Plastic about their recommendation regarding the material they would use to insure the stickers will adhere. As I was leaving, they seemed to know more that I would have guessed that they would.

What I would recommend is to contact the delivery specialist you are working with. If the car arrived in Hawaii, you may be able to get your car earlier. That is the experience I had. I was able to get it a few days early just by contacting the delivery specialist. Actually, the day I called, they told me that I could pick it up that day from the SC. However, even if the ship arrives, the container needs to be off loaded and opened and the whole process of getting it to the SC takes place.
We have to give a name to this unbearable phenomenon when the delivery time comes near and it is so tantalizingly close and you just can't wait. Lets call it Teslanxiety
Lol.. Don't worry gmtom, you quickly forget all the Teslanxiety once you see you car
Hahaha, Teslanxiety - I like it! Thanks all for the support. I think I wouldn't be so bad waiting if I could just get the app working so I could tell where my car is at. It would be awesome if there was a "pre-delivery" mode in the app where you can view the car through the app and check it's location, but disable all the other stuff.
I'm not exactly 100% ready for the car anyway, as the 14-50 outlet at the house won't be done for a couple more weeks and I need to finalize my insurance arrangements for it. I'll call/email my DS (Ciaran) today to check.
Any way to speed up the outlet installation? Car deliveries have a bad habit of sneaking up on you when you least expect it ...
Finally got my delivery appointment for next tuesday, 8/6! Car is here, but not at the SC yet. I think it arrived on Sunday via Matson's 7/24 sailing out of Long Beach. I guess I'll know for sure once I see the BOL. It's going to be a long week.........:frown:
