I am looking for a model X owner with the tow package who is willing to do me a favor.
I need a 2-inch hitch receiver (the thing that came with your tow package and sticks into the back of the car to create a place for hitch accessories to plug into). It is Tesla part 1027582-00-A. They will only sell it to a US VIN holder, and I am in the UK. So if you could swing by your tesla dealer and pick up one (say you lost yours, don't say for someone else. they won't sell if for someone else) and grab it for me, and ship via UPS/FEDEX/USPS to me, I will compensate the part (USD 120?) and the time. Of course karma will compensate you too! Please only people who can do this this weekend. Have a roadtrip coming up and need the piece and thought I could get it myself and am now stuck!
