Hits Garage Door!!!

If I open the hatch when the Y is parked in my garage, the hatch rises so much that it hits the garage door (the door is above the Y when the garage door is open). Is there some way to adjust how far the hatch opens? Right now I need to remember not to open the hatch while the Y is in my garage, but sometimes my wife or I forget and the hatch bangs into the door.

Grab the hatch and stop it at (or drag it to) the highest opening. press and hold (3s) the button to set that as the automatic opening stop point.

you can always push it open further when you aren't in your garage and you don't want to hit your head

From what I remember, after the rear hatch is open, you can manually lower the hatch to your desired position, and then press and hold the hatch button for 2 seconds, or until you hear a chime.
