I don't have a garage, but I do have a carport and one day I was reversing out of the carport and half my mind was concentrating on driving while the other half was trying to work out what had happened to the back-up camera because the picture it was sending me was rather ... unusual
A gentle breeze reminded me that I had the lift gate open, but fortunately one of the first things I did with the vehicle when I got it was to set the opening height so that it would pass under the support beam that ran across the front of the carport - Phew!
I set that height because when I did the test drive, I noticed the Y they gave me was all chipped up along the duck bill ... because they'd never adjusted the opening height and people were picking up the vehicle in a multi story parking garage. What's one of the first things you do on a test drive?
