The front hood on my 2017 MS needs to come forward by a couple of mm. It's bugged me for a while so I did a search and one guy managed a great job on his M3 by removing the struts and then making the adjustments. I was wondering if anyone has done this on the S as it would be good to know what could go wrong, given the S has a bigger, and therefore heavier bonnet. For example, once i loosen the nuts securing it, is there enough slack to allow it to crash through the screen? and, without the struts, will the bonnet pop up slightly when I open it? I'm not interested in having the SC do it, I would much rather do it myself.
