In this vid...it looks like the Tesla swerved into the other lane:

Guess we'll soon find out whether AP will hit another car to avoid being hit.

If EAP did this, then I'm extremely impressed. But the video doesn't really show anything. It doesn't show that the car had EAP engaged. It doesn't show that EAP stayed engaged throughout the swerving. It doesn't even show that the car is a Tesla. I don't see why EAP wouldn't be able to make this maneuver, but the video doesn't really show much.

Till those frequent auto pilot related accidents stop, the general public (who are not close to Tesla like many of us everyday) is going to believe it is dangerous or not ready for prime time yet. In addition to avoid crash like many are touting, Tesla EAP should also stop crashing to the parked vechiles on the side of the road.. with 100,000 M3 hitting the road with 60+% of them having EAP, this is going to be a serious issue if hitting stationary objects continue. We have to look at both ways.
