How do you get out of netflix?

I did not purchase the FSD(that I know of anyway), but got V10 last night. This morning I tried netflix out, but once I was watching something, I could not figure out how to get out of netflix so I could drive the car. Had to reboot. Is this a bug, or is there a non-intuitive way to exit?

There is a tiny little X in upper right corner. Press that.

Click on screen, that should bring the title bar and exit x up

Same issue with the new update (2020.8.2)
I’m in Track. Press the “x” and nothing happens..menu bar disappears after a few seconds as if nobody touched it..

Fast forward 2.5 years and I can’t find any way to exit out of Netflix from the main/home Netflix screen. There’s no “X” that pops up in the top-right corner. Elsewhere within the Netflix app, the “X” will pop up, but not on the main screen. The only way I could find was just to put the car in Drive.

Might be a sleep mode thing, did you try opening the door or hitting the brake pedal?

Nope.

The solution is to tap the thin (~3/8”) black bar at the top of the screen. That brings up the controls, including the “X” in the top-right corner that allows you to exit.
