How in the world does one lower rear center console??

OK, so I have has my '22 SLR for a couple of months, and I can't for the life of me figure out how one lowers the rear center console. How is it done? Or is there a vid with it or anything??

Feel behind center rearcheadrest. Press the button that’s flush/inside the material of the headrest. It releases the center armrest

Ah, I see. So I think the problem I was having was sometimes when I press that button I hear a rather short mechanical sound and it doesn't release. It appears to take a press that results in a longer mechanical sound for it to actually release.

Do you have that experience? Or maybe I need service?

I also have difficulty lowering mine. I keep fiddling with the button and it finally releases.
