Android Auto is too easily hacked and the back door to get into the teslas OS.

Very easy to have a secure VM to handle the screen mirroring that just touches the display layer and is done all the time on servers. Very secure if you added separate hardware to drive a portion of the screen. Plus, every other manufacturer has figured out how to do it.
