How much range do we lose monthly? 2-3 miles lost in 1200 miles

When I got the car it said 273 max, but I know it's officially 272. When I used my 500 free fast charging miles it went from 273 to 272 on the first charge. Then after a couple more times it was 271, then just now max is 270. I have 1197 miles on the care now. Is this because the fast charger is hard on the battery? It charges fast but really slows down after 80%. Should I drive it closer to 10% charge then charge at home where it charges slower? I realize the stated range at the top of the screen isn't really accurate so maybe it just recalibrates reality at the fast charger.

The answer to the question posted in your thread title, is:

"Plan to lose somewhere between 6-10% of the vehicles rated range the first 12-18 months you own it. Plan for it to slow down after that".

For more than that, I will point you to either the General range thread:

Or the SR+ range thread:

or, you can search TMC for the word "range" in this subforum and likely find one of likely 100s of threads here on range that you can deep dive into if you want to.
