How much voltage and amperage do Tesla battery packs have?

Hi everybody,
I would first like to thank you for for this forum, I have read an article about Tesla battery power in Quora ( https://www.quora.com/How-much-voltage-and-amperage-do-Tesla-battery-packs-have ), I found that amperage in a Ludicrous P100D during max acceleration may reach 1,425A !!! In this case, and according to Wiring and cables standards, outer diameter of the wiring harnesses may exceed 100 mm, even more ! but how is that? ( http://www.hybirdresources.com/product/high-voltage-screened-ev-cable )
Anyone here would please help me to find how to calculate wiring cross section in such cases? I will be so thankful.
With kind regards.

The maximum draw for a P100D battery pack can actually approach 1700A but it's only for very short durations (the Quora answer you referenced isn't taking voltage sag into account.) The HV wiring is approximately 10mm I think. Tesla obviously sized their HV wiring based on some sort of intermittent load assumptions.
