Yes, I had Similar problem like yours, I needed to purchase the Full Self Driving for 3k before it when up at end of month (NOV 2019) I called to service centers and main to the mangers at and told them wanted to pay in cash, check, PayPal Etc., They checked and told me only purchasing a debit type Visa or Master card from any store. but I looked up it was impossible to make it before Tesla’s offer expired. I even Twitter Elon to make more payment options available like above cash,PayPal which Elon once own and it fell on deft ears.You would think they would offer more Financial ways to pay online or at service centers making less difficult for the consumers being a High Tech Company to make it more Viable . Side note when I purchased my M3 I trade my 2018 for it, I traded it and recived credit back, Had clear Title, and no balance after 8 months there Financial center called me and said I still owed $965. On there records even with a clear Title on the car. For ongoing situation with numerous calls and texts with there Financial consultants till this date have not received satisfactory outcome, I told them and realized the company still growing pains and understood,, but Organization still is very flawed which is very disturbing. All said best car, care car service, but the internal makeup of the inter going’s on of the company needs a major overhauling I am sure not only one but Swept under the rug.
If this keeps up next time my money may go else where just to have peace of mind. Till now still on going and my patients is running thin. I’ll give you the connection of good connection the guy very understanding like me tired to do his job and up and beyond more than his title which company should have more of ,but sadly not recognized.
