how to add profile picture and contact administrator?

Anyone know why my reply posts are not getting through? I had 3 replies get posted. I replied to another thread post #23 and it lists my post as post #23. I can see it when I sign into my account, but not if I’m not signed in? Any ideas what is happening?

Maybe focus on contributing to the community with posts with substance rather than worrying about whether you can add an avatar. It's possible (and I hope it is true) that posts here don't count towards unlocking the ability.

Apparently it is still required to post a number of times before adding a profile pic. But as a brand new member, I can't find any way to modify text in my profile either. Apologies in advance for the useless posts I'll be making to get permission to edit my own profile. Perhaps 8 will be enough.
