How to best sell Model Y privately in Ontario

Lookings for suggestions on how to sell my Model Y in Ontario. I've talked to some dealers but they offer $ 15 - 20k less than they will sell it for, seems like a big hit.

Is Autotrader the best option? How do you weed out tire kickers / joy riders? I'd like to focus on real buyers.

I sold my 2016 S on FB. Found a good buyer, met one time and bought it.

Used Autotrader, Kijiji and Facebook Marketplace. Legit serous private buyer came from FBM. Not much interest from other sources.

I appreciate this thread, since I'm taking delivery of a new Model Y next week and have to sell my 2014 Model S 85. I have no idea where to find out fair pricing. There are not too many for sale, and the specs are all so different it's hard to do that intuitive multivariate analysis to figure out what I should price it at.

I assume I need to go get a safety check, too? Any recs on whrere to do that in Ontario? Crappy tire? Local mechanic?

Facebook seems like a decent option for finding buyers.

Also what's the process for actually selling it? Get a contract signed, take payment in full and only then sign over ownership?
