How to put mud flaps over PPF? Any Tips?

I am in the process of applying PPF. I have the hard plastic mudd flaps that I bought from amazon. What can I do before applying mudd flapps that can avoid tearing or shifting of PPF?

When I had front mudflaps, I used a bit of foam padding on the inside of the mudflaps to keep them from scratching the PPF and to stop rattling.

What about all the bubbles? Should I be patient and let them clear up I hope? Or should I be impatient and use a syringe?

If you paid to have the ppf installed I’d take it back or ask for your money back. That’s a pretty bad job. But to answer your original question the mud flaps can be sanded/cut down to smooth any rough or sharp edges. And as extra protection I applied another layer of ppf over my ppf where the mud flaps contact the paint.

I did my own ppf, turned out better than that haha. Go to a pharmacy and buy a needle. Use it to remove the air and liquid. Works good.
