How to remove flip top lid? (phone storage)

My note10plus with case is too tall for my wireless charger. Since I never close the lid, removing the lid would be ideal. Anyone know how it comes off? I don't want to pry it off and break something.

I just did this yesterday to remove the door since it's blocking my new Pixel 6 Pro from charging properly. 20 minutes start to finish. Thanks for linking to the video!
