Apparently the 2010MY Roadsters have a cell connection. Don't know if it's being used for this purpose, however.

Under 4k key sets for the tesla. and as for pin the pros and or X tesla emp can be paid to tell how the decode works for the factory pin number to over ride the user set pin. every one of them has a factory pin.
Fact is its just as easy as any car from 2005+ to take. the fact the car is not gone this was no pro.
Id just remove all the parts and ditch the shell.
As for the cell connection I bet Tesla will eat the cost while its under warrnty or charge extra for service +++

in (Eastern) Europe are some professionals, they able to take every car if someone pay'd for it, doesn't matter what kind of security features are implemented,
it's just a challenge for them (at least at the first object).
- capturing / jamming keyfob signals
