As a woman I usually prefer the Drive Door Unlock mode for safety, but I just had to escort my 86 year old father and when putting him in the passenger side, I had to leave him standing while I ran around the car and unlocked the drivers door and then unlocked all doors and then ran back around to help him get into the passenger side. There should be a way to unlock all doors from the Mobile App when needed and still keep the safety of the "Driver Door Unlock Mode" for all other times.

According to the manual, once you unlock the driver’s door, you can press the unlock control in the app to unlock the other doors.
But is there a way to unlock the driver's door from the app and then unlock all doors from the app? I don't want to have to go to the driver's door when trying to load my elderly father into the passenger's seat. I usually have Driver Door Unlock Mode active for safety so intruders cannot enter other doors when I am entering the driver's door. I know if I disable the Driver Door Unlock Mode all doors will unlock from the app. Just looking for a way to unlock all doors from the app without going to my driver's door first and without disabling the safety provided by Driver Door Unlock Mode.

According to the manual, pressing the unlock icon a second time should unlock all doors:
"To unlock the remaining doors, long press the button located at the top of the interior driver door handle, use the touchscreen, mobile app or press the key fob a second time."

For normal passengers that can get in and out without help, that would be fine. My elderly dad uses a walker or cane and I had to abandon him at the passenger door to go around and unlock his door from my drivers door and then run back to help him in the car. What if I had a baby in my arms that I needed to put in the passenger side back seat? I still want the safety of the Driver Door Unlock Mode but I would like the option to unlock all doors without going to the Driver's door.

I don't think you understood the passage. Press the unlock button in your app a second time. It may also require a double tap.

I will have to test pressing the lock icon twice on the mobile app to see if that works. Usually that just Unlocks and then locks the doors.

With Driver Door Unlock Mode enabled (for safety), only the driver's door unlocks when depressing this icon. Wish there was a way to press and hold the unlock icon and get all doors to unlock and override the Driver Door Unlock Mode.
Ah traditional, like Toyota, fob and door lock cylinder actions, press/turn once unlock driver door, do again unlocks all

Yeah, I thought your question was too simple

Great idea for an enhancement to the app
There is a Dec 2023 holiday app thread
Post your idea there

Nope, just tried it on my 2014 MS, one press unlocks the drivers door but a second press locks it again! The icon in the app goes from a locked padlock to unlocked, but the second press locks the drivers door and the icon goes back to a locked padlock.

Exactly the same how mine behaves.
Is you try long pressing (as opposed to short pressing) the second time to see if there is a difference? Also have you tried double tapping instead of pausing the second time?

Ok, problem solved. The first time, when the app shows the locked padlock icon, tap it once to present just the drivers door handle, THEN quickly double tap the icon AGAIN to present the other three handles. Pressing one more time locks the doors. It works consistently now for me.
