Just an Update: Took the car back to the tint shop and the owner was awesome. They replaced the tint. Instead of going with 55% tint I went darker the 35%. The cloudy haze is gone.
I just had expl prime xr installed in my MX two weeks ago and I'm having the same issue. In the back they used the lowest tint and it's clear as can be. But in the front with the tint there is a real bad haze. I'm thinking of taking it back as well.

Sadly, I think it is normal. Regret the transparent (IR-blocking only) on my S front windshield as it is always hazy. Love the IR block, but hate the haze.

If I may, what did they charge you for the windshield? I once got a quote for 3M Crystalene for my IS350 Fsport @ $750. I walked on that number, and avoided the haze too, I guess.
