I just ran into a curb

I am feeling very ***** about this. Getting even more sicker when I read the estimated costs for repairing/replacing rocker panels. How bad is this and do you think it is repairable at a local body shop?

Also, is the damage more cosmetic or do I have to worry about the inner parts exposed by water/rain? I could defo live with this and just put an aftermarket sideskirt over the damage.

P.s. I do not have insurance over this

Thanks all

It's just a superficial dent. There's nothing inside but the scratched paint will allow rust to form on the surface, the gap is just a plastic trim piece. Any shop can fix it with a glob of bondo and a splash of paint. Should cost between $1000 and $10,000 depending on how nervous you appear when saying the phrase "rocker panel".

I damaged both my rockers on multiple occasions.
The first time around, it was cheap, the second time was pretty expensive. The last repair was eyewatering... thank you insurance!
It really depends, but in your case it looks like one of those cheap occurrences.
I’d relax about it.
