I'm buying an off-lease LEAF this week for $6800 net after transport fees and state tax credit. My hope is that it will serve as our second, local run-about for many years. My M3 reservation is mostly about range to get to work and enhanced safety; otherwise I find many 'economy' cars more than adequate if they are EVs.

I was ubered to LAX by a KIA soul ev this morning.........it is perfect for local jaunts. The driver loved his and is also on the M3 wait list. He named his whipper-snapper.

I used to be in a car sharing service in Norway that had a few. They were the best cars in the fleet for in town use. Also Kia's interior quality is surprisingly good. I love the way they implemented the charging door into the grill too.
