Intermittent wipers stopped working on 2018 Model S with stalks

I have a 2017 MS and have the same issue. It is NOT hardware related.

Up until fairly recently, I was able to use my delay wipers in “timer mode” with auto wiper option turned off in vehicle settings. Now, that setting makes no difference. It acts as though the wipers work in auto mode regardless of that setting. The problem is that the auto mode is far worse than it’s ever been, no matter what I set it to. This happens regardless of me using AP/FSD or not. I was manual driving most of the time and the delay wipers are unusable.

This is an extremely dumb software change. I hope they fix it soon.

I have version 2023.27.7 (FSD 11.4.7.3).

This issue appeared a couple versions back and still there.

We are having the same issues - hopefully it gets solved soon, now that it is raining in California maybe one of the Tesla engineers will notice the issues...and get it pushed up the ladder for a fix.

Only if they care and are driving or know how to drive or actually drive a Tesla

They seem to be fixed as of 2023.44.30.1 (on my 2017 S and 2018 X, w/ FSD).
