I rebooted the phone, rebooted the X and removed and added the phone. I can initiale a call with the mic button but neither party can hear the other. Same on incomeing calls. I can pick up the call, but same thing...no audio. iPhone 13 Pro Max 2020 X LR. Worked great for three years.
I am having the same issue but this did not start until we had a visit to the service center for a " driver side safety restraint issue" which took a week to take care. Once I got the car back, neither my wife's iPhone 15 pro nor my iPhone XR would connect properly. Bluetooth pairs seamlessly but the person we call cannot hear us although we can hear them. IT is such a pain and a safety hazard to switch them to speaker phone to take the call
