Is it ok to use a Tesla logo...

They have some text saying not to use their logos, but they don't say what they are. I don't see any trademark symbols. There are lots of users of Tesla -- it's a name. after all. There is a band. There are a LOT of electrical contracting firms with that name. As stated, the font isn't unique -- maybe the word Tesla IN that font is. The logo is probably copyrighted.

Make shirts for yourself and you are not going to have a problem. Sell them and you might.

You cannot use a trademarked Tesla "T" on the product, but if you are a small fish that sells 10 t-shirts a month, you are not probably not going to get a cease and desist letter from Tesla legal. On the other hand, if you put a mickey mouse on the t-shirt... watch out!

Tesla seems to be extremely lax about cracking down on copyright or trademark infringement. I suspect it's all a part of their "not a penny spent on advertising" motto. It seems that as long as you aren't damaging the brand, pretty much anything goes.
