Isn’t FSD discounted by 3K if you preorder the Model Y?

Under the old structure pricing went like

EAP - 5k at delivery, 6k post
FSD - 3k at delivery, 5k post

Current structure is 5K for the whole enchilada.

Early adopters of FSD got displeased so prices are supposed to revert on Monday.

If so, it should be 8K again for the whole package.

Am I wrong or missing something?

Not sure if I understand your post, but on the Y order page it’s 3k AP + 5k FSD = 8k today.

Whoops figured it out. It had to be a current Tesla to go from 0 to FSD for 5K.

Mine is the same bought in November. I think we could have added it for 2k when they had the sale last month. But unfortunately the price has gone up on us. I figured it would so I ordered my Y with FSD.

I would have but really did not know that this was a thing until recently, didn't even know I could/should order....

It could be cheaper in the end to just trade your car in for a 202X Model 3 with AP than upgrade the old one. Especially with all of the other improvements by then.
