Can someone clarify, the 2019 supplement says to cut the red wire and attatch to the fuse box. Does this mean the OVMS only gets power when the system is on. There may be a revision in the low voltage wiring but my diagnostic plug only has 8 inches or red cable before it splices with the OVMS plug and goesto the back of the car. I assume the power feed for OVMS will also be cut. Unless I’m meant to cut after the splice so the red goes to both plugs, one the OVMS and the other the diagnostic port, but the power feed going to the back of the car is now from the on switch. This is not what the supplement says but it’s the only thing that makes any sense.
