Light show activation by phone?

Am I being daft? is the only way to activate the lightshow is by setting it to now or a scheduled time from inside the car?

Was hoping to activate it remotely by phone when the trick or treaters are about !

Yes, the only way is from the car screen.

You can however talk via the car using the app in a robotic voice if you have Premium Connectivity.

Yes, olden cars without speaker would need to have it fitted for this.

PS It's not really worth it for the novelties, but many prefer to add it for the padestrian warning sounds.

I agree this would be a WONDERFUL feature and I am amazed one must go into car screen to set it. Being able to start and stop with the phone would be great at a car show.

and yet, once again I have just driven home in this torrential downpour we are getting and they have worked perfectly the entire way. Stopped immediately when I entered the dartford tunnel, on again as I came out. Slowed up when the rain did.

Its not the wipers that are the problem, its the consistency.

How about making the computer display do some animations durring the lightshows. Example: 4th of July lightshow could have a fireworks display blasting on the screen.
