LTE connectivity gone after latest software update?

Has anybody experienced losing LTE connectivity (only 3G now) after the latest software update (2023.12.8). Over the weekend I started noticing there’s little to no LTE connection. Today, only showing 3G or No connection. Wondering if anyone having the same issue.

Since there is not much 3G signal anywhere now, try resetting the cell connection. I believe the only way to do this is to do a two-button reset.

I experience the same issue. No more LTE connection and only 3G and constant loss of connection. I’m from Vancouver.

That seems to be a pretty serious issue. Now you must connect to WiFI for any updates to fix the issue. Better inform Tesla Service. Sounds like another bug.

Tesla has announced there is a known issue right now with Rogers LTE service in Canada. I’m in Ottawa and only have had 3G for the past few days. I made a service appointment about it and was told they are working with Rogers on this right now. (See the Canada forum for more info).

Thank you guys. I am running the connection via my personal hotspot now. Hopefully Tesla figures out this with Rogers soon. I bet it has something to do with the recent Roger/Shaw merge.

Tesla service messaged me this morning saying they have fixed the Rogers issue and asked if I now had LTE. At first it was still 3G but after I did a two-button reboot the LTE service resumed.

Thank you for the update. I had LTE back on again yesterday around 6:30pm. It’s been steady so far.

I'm in the USA, I have the same issue, it will connect if I do a soft reboot, We turned in a service request with the exact time it was doing it. Their response was,
The modem is going into airplane mode and this is a known issue, they are working on a firmware update. In the meantime, do a soft reboot to restore service. The good and bad part of driving a computer.

Yes, you can do it while driving, just the screen reboots only takes a min, the turn signals still work and stuff you just can't see them.

Thanks. I have been releasing those two buttons after the T appears. It’s a brand new model S.
It does reboot.
