M3 2022 USB locations?

We have a 2022 Shanghai-built Model 3 LR with VIN LRW3F7FS4NC505913.

There are two USB-C ports in the front of the centre consol and two at the back facing the rear passenger seats.

There are no USB ports of any kind in the glovebox any only a cigarette lighter in the rear centre console cubby.

None of these USB-C ports work with the infotainment system. We cannot read USB audio or media.

We cannot determine where all dashcam clips are being stored, but they are being saved somewhere.

How do we get USB-C access to the infotainment system?

I have found my answer in the owner's manual here.

What an absolute scam. Tesla should be ashamed.

This was a well-publicized known thing, especially during 2021/2022 🤷‍♂️ not sure what else you can expect. Some cars had CCS-support, some didn’t, matrix lights on some … there were all kinds of quirks.

Extended topics on TMC about using the USB port in the glove box and which drives work best.
