M3 driving at 40 mph. In Park.

Check out this video I made a few days ago. After I stopped, I just held both steering wheel buttons to reset, and everything was fine. And it hasnt done it again...

Funny, but what's not funny is filming on your phone while driving, especially in snowy conditions.

I had my screen freeze up like that a couple weeks ago, I reset it and it has been fine since then.

Man, if you can drive at that speed in Park, just imagine how fast it can go when you put it in Drive

I wonder if the odometer was registering miles while you were in “Park”.

Perhaps you were to hasty in resetting the MCU!

Questions - How did you get the car going? Did it just work like it was in D even though it was still in P, or did you switch it to P at some point? Or did you move the lever to D, but the screen was frozen and didn't change? And what's the deal about the seatbelt - you mention you don't have it on. Why not? I wouldn't drive anywhere in those conditions without it on, but hey, it's your life.
