Map lights..

Has anyone replaced theirs? I think they suck and aren’t very bright. If someone has done it, do you know the bulb size (LED)?

Brighter versions of the rectangular lights used thought the Model 3 (under door, trunk, under dash, glove) are available from several sources, but I haven’t seen anyone selling replacements for the ceiling lights.

Along these lines, I'm currently in a loaner model S, and it seems that its map lights are much brighter than the 3's... can anyone(who owns both) confirm that, and has anyone actually tried installing S map lights in a 3? I'll probably try it if no one else reports that it doesn't work well.

There is no bulb, per se. There's a single chip inside of the plastic lens. You'll need to disassemble the light fixture and solder a new chip onto the board.
