Maps extremely out of date

How do I get a map update for both the vehicle and the app? Maps are more than 3 years old. Plazas etc that were build 3 years ago so not show in the maps, just empty fields.

I believe the map visuals come Google. Check Google maps and you will probably see the same views.

To answer your question, there is no way to "force" an update. Map/nav updates are sent periodically by Tesla (once a year or so) and usually are part of an OTA update package.

Google maps show all of the roads, plazas etc. Just not within Tesla app.

There is no way to force a map update, and I doubt the actual data in the car is 3 years out of date (unless its a salvage vehicle that is 3 years old at this point or something). You can see the last time your car updated its maps on the software screen in the car.
