Martian MW05 18 X 10.5 on a MYLR?

Has anyone installed the 18x10.5 MW05 Martian wheels on a MYLR? I am contemplating 295/35/18 tires for a square set up and understand they will not rub or require any mods. I'm curious how that configuration fills the wheel well and rides, otherwise. Any comments and especially those with photos would be great. Thank you.

are you going to lower your MYLR?

according to tire comparison calculator, the 295/35/18 will only be 26.1" in diameter vs the gemini 255/45/19 28" diameter.

imho, too small unless you're going to lower.

I wasn't planning on lowering it but appreciate the info. I would actually prefer to go with a taller sidewall profile but am concerned about maintaining a wide enough tire on the 10.5 wheels so it's not stretched (and not rub anywhere). They're a plus 40 offset. Any alternate tire size suggestions that would work to increase sidewall width/tire height? Thanks!

i believe 29.6" is the tallest tires you can fit in a Y without hitting the knuckle on the control arm.

not sure about the widest tire. i know some people run 8.5 or 9.5 wide wheels on the Y. that way you won't have to get such wide tires.

The 8.5 width would have been a great choice. The 10.5 were one sale and the idea of a wider wheel for summer appealled to me. I believe a 295/45/18 would bring height just above 27 inches and they're supposed to be okay for wheel widths up to 11 inches. If anyone out there has used 295/45/18s on a 10.5 wheel with their MY I would really appreciate any input. Thanks Skavatar for your help also.

I'm contemplating the Toyo Proxes ST 3 in a 295/45/18 configuration. The XL's have a good load rating and I believe the tread meets my daily summer needs. I'm a noob on this site and just got my MYLR in Nov 2023. Appreciate any input from those with sound wheel/tire knowledge with our cars. Thank-you.

For the info of anyone who may be interested, the wheel and tire reps have confirmed fitment should not be an issue. I have attached dimensions of the 20" Induction wheels, my existing 18" Michelin X Ice winters, and my intended purchase.
