Maryland HOV Permit

September 30, 2022 is getting closer and closer! Does anyone know or heard if our HOV permit will be extended? I did some research but couldn't find anything.

Dear Plug-In Electric Vehicle Owner,

This notification is being sent to inform you that the Plug-In Electric/ Vehicle High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) Permit program is set to expire on September 30, 2022. After this date, you may not use HOV lanes without having the appropriate number of passengers in your vehicle. All motor vehicles must conform to the requirements when using the HOV lanes in Maryland.

After September 30, 2022, please remove the HOV sticker from your vehicle. You may find additional information on our website. Thank you in advance for your adherence to the law.
